Bruins/Sharks game net highest NHL regular season ratings in Versus history

According to a report in the San Jose Mercury News, ^[3] the San Jose Sharks/Boston Bruins Tuesday night was the highest-rated regular season NHL game in Versus history. The game was highest-rated and most-watched regular-season game in Versus’ four year relationship with the NHL. Jumbo Joe’s return to Boston drew a 0.54 household rating nationally (550,000 viewers) and was 69 percent above the network’s average for the season.
