hello,haggs i’m so exicted to hear that mark recchi is commited to coming back for another season with the bruins because he has a lot more gas in his tank to continue on with the bruins and he also stated that boston is his first choice i’m also glad we still have him on our roster because he helps out some our young guys out on the power play as far as getting to the net in front to tap in garbage goals and being smart with the puck do you think the bruins next year gonna be back in the playoffs again and will they go all the way which they were favored last year to do.what do you think haggs.

I think the Bruins want Recchi back because of the leadership, toughness and production he’s still capable of in his mid-40′s. He’s also not going to break the bank in terms of salary cap price tags, but I’m not sure they’ll have a spot for him if they don’t make a trade over the next few days, whether it’s Sturm, Kessel, Ryder or somebody else. We’ll have to wait and see, but I think Recchi proved last spring that he can be a valuable piece of a Stanley Cup-worthy team if the B’s can improve things along the blueline.
