Bruins send Caron to Providence

Boston Bruins [1] General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced Tuesday afternoon that the team had assigned Jordan Caron to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.

In his first pro season, the forward made the Bruins roster out of training camp. The 20-year-old has appeared in 20 games for the B’s, recording three goals and four assists. Caron was a healthy scratch for the last two games.

The Sayabec, Quebec native was selected by the Bruins in the first round (25th overall) of the 2009 NHL [2] Entry Draft.
