Report: Rob Murray done as Providence Bruins coach 04.16.11 at 6:22 pm ET

According to a report in the Providence Journal, Rob Murray will not return as coach of the Providence Bruins next season. He has reportedly been offered a scouting job with the Bruins.

Murray led the Bruins to a combined 117-103 record as coach of the P-Bruins. They did not make the playoffs in either of the last two seasons.

    Yippee – about time –good bye Rob — It seemed like with the talent on his Team – he only developed his “favourite” players– never looked like the team was playing for the coaching staff — the way Boston is playing they could really use some of the AHL players to contribute — IF NOT trade em!! ie Hamill – when is he going to get a chance — KEEP HIM / PLAY HIM or TRADE HIM !!!

    yippee about time goodbye rob it seemed like with the talent on his team-he only developed his favourite players – never looked like team was playing for the coach the way boston is playing they could use some of the ahl players if not trade em ie hamill keep him – play him or trade him

    about time seemed like coaching staff was pulling team down with them boston needs to use some of the talent they have in ahl why do they hang on to them what is going to happen with hamill for instance so many good players have left team ie to florida
