The reffing was really biased against the Canucks. They called an off-side on a break-away that wasn’t off-side. They missed a too-many men on the ice penalty and they threw Canucks in the box even when the replays demonstrated they didn’t touch anyone. Boston deserved to win, but when so many calls were blown, it increases animosity on the ice and off.

What I’m really interested in, is what penalty calls SPECIFICALLY on Vancouver do you completely disagree with. Sedin is now complaining about Thomas’s play? What is he too effective for the Sedin’s? Do we even need to argue about this?

Thomas is not going to change his style of play. He has played this way all season and there is no reason for him to change.

As for Burrows, he is a little punk. Slashing a goalie’s stick out of his hands multiple times is a penalty and should have been called. The “love tap” by Thomas was fair game at that point because the refs were not doing their job. These refs need to get their heads out of their asses and call goalie interference when Thomas gets the stick slashed out of his hands multiple times. I saw it happen at least four times last night, that should have been four penalties.

As far as what happened after, Burrows goes in and cross checks a goalie, starts throwing punches and gets no penalty. I am pretty sure that what he did was worth a penalty call.

For one, a goalie has more equipment on and is not able to fight as effectively as a player. This is why there are not any fights between goalies and players. Of course Burrows being a little puke won’t fight any players on the Bruins but the goalie; he will throw down with. Talk about embarrassing, this Burrows kid is the biggest wimp agitator I have seen since Matt Cooke. Keeps living up to his billing, Burrows is “all bite and no fight”.

If you Canucks fans are complaining about the refs then you are totally blind. If anything the refs have favored the Canucks in this series. Just because the Bruins are more physical and better at finishing their checks legally does not mean the refs are biased against the Canucks. Kim go have a cry at the nail salon.

The Canucks players’ skate was lifted off the ice when the puck entered the zone. Even though his skate was behing the blue line, it was not touching the ice, which is an automatic offside (as mentioned by the announcers as well).

I checked out Burrows, Lapierre, Kesler and several other Vancouver players on Hockeyfights.com, which is a great site because it offers several years’ worth of history of these cheap shot weasels. In 99% of each of the skirmishes the weasels were involved in, the weasels were the direct cause because of a cheap shot/hack/slash that they committed. In addition, each weasel turtled immediately upon commencement of their beating. Heck, in one video, I found myself cheering for Daniel Carcillo as he beat on Burrows after a cheap shot. The best beating of all is of Burrows by Vinny Lecavalier. Check it out!

Kim you must be forgetting about the diving that the Canucks are doing. Like the Recchi High Stick last night that while the stick was high never came close to hitting him yet he grabbed his face. Thomas did not slash Burrows for “embarrassing him in game 2″ he slashed him because Burrows slashed Thomas twice on that power play. The refs did not do their job and give Burrows a penalty; therefore Thomas took things into his own hands. Then Burrows being a little punk, cross checked and tried to fight a goalie. That shows Burrows has the mental toughness of a twelve year old. Burrows is a coward and would never fight anyone else on this Bruins team except maybe Recchi who would probably kick his ass anyways.

If a Vancouver player runs Thomas they might actually have to stand up for themselves and fight someone. Running a goalie is about the cheapest thing you can do in hockey because the goalie cannot protect themselves. Thomas is allowed by Rule to play out of the crease, it is called cutting down the angle on the shot. The American hockey audience has not yet learned how to manipulate the outcome of a hockey game. When the Nucks attack the goaltender, flop on the ice, high sticks, just to name a few that are not called. seems to me Vancouver had the majority of the powerplays this series especially in game 4.
