News keeps getting better around here……

That sucks.  Kelly is a hard worker and energy guy.  I’ll be real curious to see what kinds of moves the team makes at the trade deadline…

yeah, no kidding. Too bad Savard cant play anymore. His skills would seriously boost that offense. So who do you think they go after?

Iginla!

They made him travel with a broken leg.

As soon as I saw that replay I had a bad feeling.  He does play some key roles on that team and he was a big part of the Cup run. They will miss him more than most people realize.

Tough to say, I haven’t heard of a ton of teams that feel they are out of it and are sellers, You would think Calgary would be an Iginla would be an obvious choice. O heard some rumor about Ottawa trading Alfredsson but I don’t see that happening. Also heard talk of Crowe from the Sharks but I don’t know enough about him to know what kind of fit he would be.

One thing for sure they need 1 or 2 decent players- and quick

With a short season like this, I would think that it wouldn’t be long before more teams are out of it.

They will miss him no doubt. Any bets on a trade or 2?

Hate to see Kelly get hurt like that.  It’s going to hurt not having him around the rest of the season.  

Mmmmmm,Soderberg anyone? This may sound crappy,but for the 4 million that Horton makes,and the 3 million that Kelly makes,boy we could turn those two into a nice 6 million dollar all star and a good kid thru the draft or from a previous draft in our lineup for next year…
